OK folk, time for the monthly 'disinfomation and propaganda'-ie, the Absract Studios Solicitations for Diamond Comic's Previews, listing items to ship in November this year.

First off, the intentionally BOGUS solicitation for SiP #45. Terry has gone on record that he has to turn in this info so far in advance, it it next to impossible to give accurate info, so he just makes something up and sends it in. It is submitted here for your viewing pleasure:

Strangers in Paradise: Francine Bust
This stunnig three-dimensional bust of Francine Peters is sculpted by Clayburn Moore! The Francine Bust is the second character to be based on Terry Moore's highly respected and intriguing comic, Strangers in Paradise. Set atop a sand colored faux marble base, Francine's expression speaks volumes of her sweet temprement and aged innocence. Francine sits 4 1/2 inches tall, approximately 1/2 inch taller than the Katchoo Bust. Comes painted and ready to display. Limited to 2000. Scheduled to ship in November. $39.00

A little friendly advice-if you want the Francine bust, go to your local comic store before the 15th of this month, and request they special order one for you. You may be required to pre-pay or pay a deposit on the item, but at least you can rest assured that you will be able to easily get your mits on one when they are released. Many shops will pass on a pricey item like this unless they know someone wants it. Help your local retailer out-they aren't mind readers, huh?

Yeah, thanks for the info, my comic dealer Diane from Fan-Quest is goin' to try and get me the Katchoo bust as well. I can't wait for the David bust to come out. It's goin' to be so choice.
